19th Annual Big Brave Event Wraps Up!
Congrats to all of our participants who either colored, cut or shaved their hair for the Big Brave event on Friday, May 26th. We would like to extend a thank you to all the community members, sponsors and Kids Cancer Care representatives who were able to come and join us. We are so moved by the generosity of the community around this event as well as the hard work of our students and their efforts put forth fundraising. We heard about lemonade stands, babysitting, doing chores and phoning family and friends to earn donations for The Big Brave. The total for this year was almost $75 000! Parents, guardians and family members, thank you for your support! And lastly, thank you to our staff who have inspired student participation, dedicated countless hours of organization, and for the passion that they brought to this legacy at Sibbald.

Bottle Drive & Gaga Ball Pit
Thank you to our Parent Association members and parent volunteers who helped coordinate and manage the bottle drive last week. We appreciate all of the donations (over $620 was raised) and support around our Gaga Ball Pit. You will see the ground on the east side of the school is getting prepped by CBE and we look forward to finalizing the date of delivery & set up.

Gr. 3 & 4 Students to Visit Nickle School's Drama Performance
Our Grade 3 and 4 classes are excited to head to Nickle School this coming week to watch the student performance of, “Beauty is a Beast." The students will be walking to Nickle, watching the performance and then staying for a short Q&A. Thank you to Nickle staff and students for the invite and for sharing your performance with us.

Gr. 6 Participates in Student Vote
Thank you to Mrs. Drever & Mrs. Gordon or organizing our Grade 6 students to participate in the Student Vote. Student Vote is an authentic learning program that provides students with the opportunity to experience the voting process firsthand and practice the habits of active and informed citizenship.
