We have had an exciting two months!

Out first big school event was The Terry Fox Run. Our school raised over $1000.00 dollars! Thank you to our students and parents for your donations! Every dollar helps! Our Boys Soccer Team went undefeated, winning the championship! Congratulations to all of our coaches and soccer players. We also had our first Halloween Dance in a number of years! It was great to see all the teachers and students dress up in their costumes.  This year's Virtue theme is "Stronger Together" and our assembly for September and October focused on Reliability. Teachers plan activities and discussions around the virtue and at the end of two months we have a virtues celebration. The virtue for November and December is Generosity. The grade 6 and 7 band trips were a great success. The grade 8 band trip will be on November 14 - 16th.

This month we will have our Remembrance Day assembly on Thursday, November 8, starting at 10:15 am. Parents are welcome to join us in recognizing the 100 year anniversary of the end of WWI.

Please join us for our School Council on November 14th from 6:30 - 7:30. All parents are welcome!

Do not forget to book your Parent Teachers interviews on November 22 and 23
