Attendance

Please report all absences and late entrances to our 24-hour Attendance Line at 403-777-6010, ext. 1. Leave your child's name, teacher and the reason for their absence in your message. See more on our Attendance page.

Office Hours

  • 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Mon - Thurs
  • 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM Friday

Outside of office hours, you may access our school voicemail at any time at 403-777-6010.

School Hours

Students may enter the building at 8:00 AM each day, this will allow for a prompt 8:10 AM start time. In the morning, 8:00 AM – 8:10 AM, there will be a supervisor for students taking the bus.

There is not any supervision before or after school. Before school, beginning at 8:00 am students are invited into the school. After school, students are to go straight home. Playdates must be organized prior to school, school phones will not be used to organize playdates.

We know that the success of your student is dependent on a strong partnership between families and the CBE. If you have a concern, it can usually be addressed at the classroom level. Your first step is to arrange to speak privately with your child’s teacher. If you feel your issue is still unresolved, please contact your principal. If you and the school are unable to find a resolution, please see our Concerns & Complaints​ page for additional information, including the process to contact your Area Director. ​​​​
