Big congratulations to all of you for a successful year, and to the grade 9 graduates. I’m confident we have prepared you well for the challenges that await you in High School, remember to always believe in yourself, be kind and shoot for the stars!

A fond farewell and best wishes in your next adventure. We will miss you all!
We will welcome a new Assistant Principal, two new teacher team members, and a new Educational Assistance over the summer and will share that news with you when we have more information.
For the upcoming school year, although Ms Holland and Mme Renee Leblanc will not be staffing the resource room, we will be keeping the space open, with a new EA joining Ms Belton in assisting students in their personalized learning.
This year, as we say goodbye to our Grade 9 students, we also bid farewell to the last class of the Spanish program. Thank you to the International Spanish Academy for organizing our Spanish Grade 9 send-off, to the Grade 9 team for the Grade 9 Farewell activities, and all of our teachers for coordinating Indigenous Day and the last day awards ceremony. We want to wish our Grade 9s the very best as they embark on their next learning journey in high school!
Finally, since April we have been discussing the possibility of reconfiguring our grade 8 Late French Immersion classes to include some carefully chosen Continuous French students who would benefit from a shift and which would bring the class numbers across all Grade 8 French classes up to 28 students. We will be going ahead with this change in the Fall.
