Welcome Back!

After months of virtual learning, we are back to school! We are doing our best to provide a safe and meaningful in-school experience for all our students. Our protocols for school re-entry have been guided by Alberta Health, Alberta Education and the CBE. Maintaining a safe school relies on everyone to do their part. I would like to acknowledge the work of all our BP staff who did all the extra steps to ensure a great and safe return to BP school.  All of our staff have taken Covid-19 training prior to starting back to work. More information regarding Covid-19 preparation is available on the CBE website www.cbe.ab.ca

To all of our new students, welcome to Bishop Pinkham School!  Our hope is that you will find ways to make positive contributions to our school. We look forward to learning more about you and with you as the year progresses.

To our returning students, welcome back! We challenge you to continue to excel in your classes and to model the leadership and citizenship that will help make this another great school year at Bishop Pinkham.

Some of our students are participating in Hub learning as at this time, it works better for them. We wish them continued success and happiness.

To all our BP students, we also want to provide throughout the 20-21 school year, multiple learning opportunities despite the more restrictive environment.

The community of educators at Bishop Pinkham strive to support each student in their learning journey to the best of their abilities. We want students to feel a sense of excitement and anticipation before each day begins, and to be active and engaged in their own learning throughout the day.

CBE schools are welcoming, caring, respectful and safe learning environments where each child feels a sense of belonging. Even though we have more than 245 schools across the city, each one has developed a unique personality that focuses on the unique needs of its students and community.

Bishop Pinkham parents and guardians play a vital role in the ongoing learning, growth, and development of their child. On-going communication between home and school is vital and we encourage parents and guardians to contact the school and staff as needed. We welcome the opportunity to meet you, whether it is in the school, on the field or court, in the theatre, on the stage or wherever it is that we may find ourselves together. Please consider attending our School Council meetings, or attending school events that occur throughout the year.

We look forward to working with you this year to help your student reach their potential!
