The IT Essentials courses offered will provide students with the opportunity to gain knowledge, experience and practical skills in the areas of computers, software, and networks. Most of the teaching is done with personal instruction from industry experts as the student works through projects. As new technologies emerge in industry, the training offered will evolve. Through learning and experience in management and computer sciences, students will become aware of related career opportunities in this field.
Program Delivery
Students will develop technical skills and theoretical knowledge using state-of-the-art computers, software and networks. Knowledge creation and experiential learning will be used to support two general pathways; Management and Marketing and Computer Sciences. Students will have the opportunity to complete recognized industry credentials associated with the Microsoft Office and Adobe software suites.
