Mission Statement
- To establish a governing body of parents that provides support and direction to the PVA Department
- To create a mechanism for communication to PVA Parents
- To commence action on initiatives identified within the PVA Department Goals
How To Get Involved
The Calgary Performing and Visual Arts Foundation (CPVAF) is open to all parents/caregivers of current PVA students. As members of this parent-run group, all are welcome to get involved. As part of the Central's PVA Program, our students have a remarkable opportunity for a high school education rich in the arts. CPVAF is committed to supporting this work and make a significant contribution towards this end.
CPVAF Executive Board meets monthly either online or in person and all parents/caregivers of PVA students are welcome to attend the meetings and have input. Thanks for your consideration of participating and contributing to the success of the CMHS PVA program. Meetings dates and details are listed on the CMHS School calendar and on the CPVAF.org webpage. How To Contribute
CPVAF hosts passive and active fundraisers each year. As a licensed charitable foundation, they are able to issue tax receipts for donations. To learn more about their fundraising initiatives or to donate toward the program as a whole or an individual arts discipline, please contact communications@cpvaf.org
