Theatre Arts

Studying Theatre Arts in The Centre for Performing and Visual Arts provides an enriched opportunity for students to immerse themselves in Studio and Production Work.  Every day, PVA Theatre Arts students work with a well-rounded team of professional artist/teachers to develop skills required to confidently find success in performance work. Through a conservatory approach focused on specialized instruction, students are encouraged to develop strong acting, movement/dance, and vocal skills.

In keeping with industry demand, students also learn voice and camera acting, as well as resume and auditioning skills. Year after year, students have opportunity to apply their many skills by performing in our main stage productions or learning Technical Theatre roles to support main stage productions.
