Please be advised that we have a SEVERE NUT ALLERGY (all nuts, including Nutella, sesame seeds and pistachios) in our classroom and school. Therefore, please try your best to pack NUT FREE snacks and lunches for your children.

We invite all our kindergarten to grade three families to fill out our Parent Wellness survey. At CJM, we are committed to our students’ wellbeing and know that their feedback and those of their families are important to understand and will help make our school a better place to grow and learn. 

This survey is for the parents of students in kindergarten, grade one, two and three to fill out. The students in those grades will continue to fill out their own survey over the coming months.

- "About the Zones of Regulations. They are all different and we use them to help ourselves" - Aria 

- "We are learning about colors in science. I learned that you can't make red but only use natural materials like red rock. And for blue you'll need lapis lazuli" - Z

- "We have also learned how to be weavers and learn to weave in a circle." - Maia 

- "We made a concept map about colors" - Mehndi

- We are starting our new unit about colors in Science

- We learned that the temperatures are very cold. They usually have a minus - Mizaan 

- We are learning about different cultures and languages - Madison

- Today we learned about personal hygiene and we drew a lovely art picture of a landscape today with Ms. Chan

"Made hummingbird nests. We put lichen and moss on them" - Zarka 

"In math we are learning about shapes. We made shapes using stamps, play-doh, geo- boards and Popsicle sticks." 

"Today we did smell experiment. We smelt smelt pickles, vanilla, coffee, cheese and vinegar!" - Grade 1

"had an assembly and went to the learning commons" - Ricki 

"did exercise! We did "Ribber" and it helps us calm down" - Zarka

Meet Dan Earl. He is a grade one student who really connected with the importance of listening to nature and taking in the lessons that our non-human world has to share with us.
