Lunchtime

At Children’s Village School, breakfast is served between 8:30 and 9:00am.  Students are encouraged to bring a small snack from home to start the day, and our cook prepares a little something extra for those who are still hungry.  Many students also bring a recess snack to eat outside during their mid-morning break.

Students have a 30-minute lunch break between 12:00 and 1:00.  Again, students are expected to bring lunch from home, but there are always extra offerings on hand for those who need it.  Our kitchen is equipped with microwaves and kettles, so families are welcome to send lunch items that need to be heated.

Allergies

Parents/guardians are asked to inform the school of any allergies or special health concerns and should communicate with the classroom team about any specific nutritional needs or food restrictions.

We have children at our school who are allergic to nuts and related nut products, we kindly ask parents or guardians to avoid sending nut products to school. For more information about this and other health concerns visit our Illness & Medical page.
