One way parents/guardians can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on our school’s parent society. Parent societies are a formal group of parents, incorporated under the Societies Act for the purpose of raising funds for the school. A society is a separate legal entity from the school council. The school principal is not part of this group. More information can be found in our CBE Administrative Regulation 5001 – School Councils and School/Parent Societies.

Parent Society

Our Parent Society is Known as Citadel Park Parent Association

Citadel Park School is also generously supported by a Parent Association who is committed to working a casino and other fund raising events in support of our school. This particular organization runs separately from the School Council and any parent is welcome to be a part of this group that works in collaboration with the school and the council in order to support educational opportunities for children.

The Parent Association supports field trips, technology, library resources, sports equipment, musical instruments and many different artists in residence throughout the year. We feel extremely fortunate to have the wonderful support that we do from both of these groups and the children do definitely reap the benefits! Please check the school website for meeting dates and minutes.

Meeting Dates/Schedule

The Association meets monthly at the school. Meetings follow immediately after School Council meetings which start at 6:30 PM.
