Lost & Found
Please label all belongings so that lost items can be returned to their owners in a timely fashion. Unclaimed items are sent to charitable organizations at intervals throughout the year.
Please discourage your child from bringing valuable items to the school. We cannot take responsibility for the loss or damage of personal items and in many cases, these personal items can also cause distractions to student learning.
Bicycles, Skateboards, Scooters, In-Line Skates and Heelys
In keeping with the ideals of an active lifestyle, students are encouraged to ride their bikes, skateboards and scooters to school. Riders should are to dismount bikes and lock them on bike racks provided at the front of the building. Scooters and skateboards are currently stored in the office during school hours. We are anticipating that a scooter storage rack will soon be installed beside the outside Door B. To ensure safety, liability and courtesy we are not able to permit the riding of bikes, skateboards, scooters, or in-line skates on the school grounds, including the compound during the school day.
The school cannot be responsible for bicycles damaged or stolen while they are at school. In addition, safety regulations require that skateboards, roller blades and Heelys are not to be brought to school or used on school property.
Personal Electronic Devices
Our school has a Digital Citizenship plan and an Acceptable Use Policy that addresses the appropriate use of electronic devices at school. Students who disregard this policy will have that device confiscated and returned at the end of the day to either the student or his/her parent.
