Attendance

Parents are responsible for students going to and from school. It is important that you call the school if your child is going to be absent or arriving late. Please report all absences to the Attendance Line at 403-777-6840 ext. 1. See more on our Attendance page.

To speak with someone at the school or to leave a message please dial 403-777-6840 and then:
Press 1     For the attendance line to report a late or absent.
Press 2     For noon hour lunch supervision. Advise us if your child will be away for lunch or will  be staying as a drop in.
Press 0     To reach the main office. Please use this option to speak with a staff member.

Kindergarten

• PM Classes 12:06 PM – 3:02 PM
• Friday alternating AM & PM – 8:18 AM – 12:30 PM

On Early Dismissal Days children attend from 8:18 AM – 12:30 PM

Student Supervision

Before Entry Bell

Outdoor student supervision begins at 8:10 AM. For safety reasons, students should not arrive prior to that time unless involved in special activities.

Noon Supervision

The lunchroom staff provides supervision continuously during the noon hour for those students in the lunch program. Students going home at noon should not return to school grounds until 15 minutes before the afternoon entry bell at 12:20 PM. Once students arrive on the school grounds, they are expected to stay at school and not leave school property. 

After Hours

There is no supervision of the playground before or after school. Once students have been dismissed for the day, they are expected to be on their way home. Students using the playground before or after school are assumed to have prior permission from a parent or guardian. Safety is a parent responsibility at that time.

Visits to other student’s homes, extracurricular activities, etc. should be arranged with parents/guardians before students leave for school that day. If students are requested by a teacher to stay beyond the afternoon dismissal bell to complete work, receive help etc. parent(s) will be informed.
