Are you traveling out of the country over Winter break? ​At this time, unvaccinated or partially vaccinated students MUST stay away from school for 14 calendar days from the return date of entry into Canada. ​Families considering international travel must follow directions from Alberta Health Services and the Government of Canada upon returning. Please note that travel restrictions are subject to change at any time. Please see for Calgary Board of Education information regarding Covid. 

Kindergarten Registration: Do you have a child who needs to start Kindergarten in September?  Don’t wait! Kindergarten registration begins on Monday, Jan. 17, 2022.

School Council: We had 26 parents attend our virtual school council meeting on Thursday Dec. 2nd!!! That is a record! Mr. Meuser, Ms. Paterson and Ms. Brocke spoke about their programs at DHS and Mr. Perrone and Ms. George spoke about the school development goals and Harkness Hour. Our next meeting is scheduled for January 27th at 6pm. Mark your calendars and plan to attend so you can hear Ms. Dron, Ms. Shihab, Ms. Sekhon, Ms. Garrah and Ms. Purdy speak about what the grade 2 and 3 students are up to.
