Lockers

Each student in is provided with a hallway locker and lock and a PE tote box and lock – please do not bring your own lock. Students are responsible for the cleanliness and security of their belongings – do not share your locker combination with anyone! School-issued replacement locks are required, and will be replaced at a charge of $7.00. Students may go to their lockers in the morning, at nutrition break, noon and after school and are asked to gather all necessary materials for classes at that time. On occasion, a teacher may ask a student to go to their locker during class time. All locks will be collected at the end of the school year.

Appropriate pictures may be hung in the lockers using magnetic fasteners. Please do not use adhesives to attach decorations as they damage the locker paint and are difficult to remove. Ask your teacher if you are unsure.

Students are not to share their combinations with friends or to exchange locks. Connect teachers have all student locker combinations, and the office has an emergency key to open locks if necessary. PE teachers have all of the tote box lock combinations.

To protect their property, students must use their locks properly. Please ensure you are using your lock properly. Ask your teacher if you are unsure.

We schedule regular locker cleanings with students through the year. Please help us by keeping your locker tidy, taking unwanted food items home regularly, and informing your teacher of any spills or messes that require cleaning.

Lockers are school property and the school reserves the right to open them at any time. School administration has a specific protocol when performing a locker search. We will not search lockers randomly, or without just cause.
