Week of October 2 - 6, 2023:

This week, we will explore the processes by which substances move into and out of cells. Namely, we'll focus on diffusion and osmosis and talk about particle movement through cell membranes. We'll also be learning (re-learning for some!) how to bring images into focus on compound light microscopes.

Week of September 25 - 28, 2023:

This week, we will continue to explore the structure and function of cells - particularly, their organelles. We will the characteristics of unicellular and multicellular organisms, and do some analysis to see which would survive best in particular environments.

Week of September 18 - 21, 2023:

After spending last week talking about the characteristics of living things and doing a deep dive on adaptations, this week we will begin to explore cell structure and function.
