Personal Belongings

Bicycles

All cyclists are required to walk their bikes on the sidewalks, exercising consideration to other pedestrians when coming to and from school. Riders are asked to dismount when on school property. Bike racks are available and it is the student’s responsibility to safely lock their bike and bring their helmet into the school. The school is not responsible for damage to bikes or lost helmets.

Lost & Found

Articles of clothing or other items found around the school or playground are deposited in the Lost and Found. We request all student’s belongings are clearly labeled.   We discourage students from bringing items of considerable monetary or personal value to school. As many students do not claim their belongings, parents are asked to check the lost and found periodically throughout the year. Unclaimed items are sent to a charity.

Personal Electronic Devices

Our school has an Acceptable Use Policy that addresses the appropriate use of electronic devices at school. Students who disregard this policy will have that device confiscated and returned at the end of the day to either the student or his/her parent.

Cell Phones

In order to provide for the safety and security of each student; cell phone use by students is not permitted in the school during school hours. We would ask for the cooperation of parents NOT to call or text their child during class time. If there is an urgent message, please contact the office.
