Run Club

Earl Grey School is offering students a Run Club during the lunch hour from 11:35-12:00. The Run Club will be held at the beginning of lunch. Students will have a chance to eat their lunch after the run. Run Club is open to students from grades 1-4. It will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between Tuesday May 7th and Wednesday June 4th.
The run will consist of a quick warm up followed by a run through Mount Royal, along the Elbow River or Elbow Park. The runs will be between 2-3kms in distance.

In order to help the club run smoothly we are asking for 2-3 parent volunteers with CURRENT POLICE background checks to join us on the runs. The time commitment would be from 11:25 AM -12:10 PM.

We will celebrate the end of the run club with a time chipped fun run on Saturday June 8. This race is the Run for Water and is completely optional. Last year many of the run club members and their families ran in the 5km race, it was a great day for all who participated. If you are planning on running in the race you will be responsible for your own child(ren) . You can register on the Run for Water by clicking on register, join a team and typing “Earl Grey Run Club”.
