We have had a great start to March at Emily Follensbee and we are looking forward to all that April will bring when we return from Spring Break! It has been amazing to see signs of spring starting to emerge and students engaged in so many wonderful learning opportunities both indoors and out as our weather has improved.

Our February Valentine's Day dance was so much fun that we decided we needed another one! March brings the opportunity to display school spirit by wearing green on March 17 at our St. Patrick's Day dance. We also look forward to Cree-8 engaging with each of our classes with Indigenous drumming, singing and storytelling on Thursday, March 23. Parents/Guardians are invited to join us at 1:45 pm that day as we take the opportunity as a whole school community to celebrate our learning. 

It's hard to believe, but we have already begun planning for the 2023/2024 school year. I would like to encourage all parents to attend our monthly School Council meetings as this is a time where we share school perspectives and look to gather valuable feedback. We also launched the 2023-24 EFS School Planning Survey. We encourage all parents to complete the survey, before March 31, as we value your feedback.   We are also looking forward to launching our online EFS Spirit Wear store in April! We hope that all of you have a wonderful Spring Break!
