| Welcome Back to School! We are so delighted to have school underway and to welcome all returning and new students and families to the 2023- 2024 school year at Emily Follensbee. Emily Follensbee is such a wonderful place for students to learn and grow. I know the year ahead will be an incredible learning journey for each of our students and am excited to see the great learning opportunities that students will engage in. Along with getting to know our new students and getting reacquainted with returning students in August and September we look forward to welcoming families into the school on September 21 in the evening and during the day on September 22 for school conferences. We encourage all parents/guardians to attend conferences as this is vital to learning more about your child and establishing learning priorities for Individual Program Plans (IPP's) for the upcoming school year. We also are looking forward to the many exciting events and activities that will take place in the first few months of school including scheduled fire drills, Orange Shirt Day, Terry Fox Run, Walk & Roll, school picture day, fall break, School Council Meetings and a Halloween Spooktacular Day. A reminder that many forms need to be completed on-line and others have been sent home for you to complete. These forms are important, and we ask that you complete and return them as soon as possible so that we have the most up-to-date information. If you need support or have questions, do not hesitate to contact your child's classroom teacher, or call the office.
