Bell Times for Grades 1-6 

Monday – Thursday 

  • 8:40 AM: Morning Bell 
  • First Lunch (Grades 2, 4, and 6) 11:30 AM to 12:20 PM
  • Second Lunch (Grades 1, 3, and 5) 12:30 PM – 1:20 PM 
  • 3:30 PM: Dismissal


  • 8:40 AM – 12:10 PM 

Bell Times for Kindergarten

  • AM Class: 8:40 AM – 11:35 AM

Contacting Your Child

If parents need to contact their child while at school, we ask that you please call the school main line at 403-777-6400 ext. 0 and you will either be connected with your child or a message to return your call will be relayed. 

Students always have the ability to contact parents using a school phone in the case of an emergency, or if a student needs to remain in school to complete work, and may be assisted by office staff if needed.

School Telephones

School phones are for business purposes. It is expected that calls to arrange “social functions and visits to friends” will be made at home.

Please notify the school office immediately with any changes of address, telephone numbers (home, business and/or cell), email address or emergency contact numbers. It is critical that we have a current record of contact information on file so we can reach you or other emergency contacts. Please also be sure to provide us with a current copy of any custody agreements.​​

Concerns & Complaints

We know that the success of your student is dependent on a strong partnership between families and the CBE. If you have a concern, it can usually be addressed at the classroom level. Your first step is to arrange to speak privately with your child’s teacher. If you feel your issue is still unresolved, please contact your principal. If you and the school are unable to find a resolution, please see our Concerns & Complaints​ page for additional information, including the process to contact your Area Director. ​​​​
