STUDENT AND FAMILY WELLNESS
We
recognize that this is a time that may cause challenges to student and
family wellness. Please know that we have supports in our schools and
district to assist your children. There are also several supports in our
community that could assist as well. There are some in this link (attachment)
as well as some highlighted below:
- 2-1-1 (call or text): Community and Social
Services Help Line (for basic needs, financial support, food,
housing information, etc.)

SUPPORTS FOR FAMILIES DURING COVID-19

Alberta 211 - call 211 for urgent food support

Calgary Food Bank - request food hampers by calling 403-253-2055.
3. Brown
Bagging for Calgary Kids - $20 grocery gift card for children who recently
received a free lunch at school through BB4CK. Visit https://bb4ck.org/help. This will require
families to complete information online.
4.
Calgary Co-Op - free care packages for anyone required to be quarantined as
directed by a public health agency, until April 15 or while supplies last.
