Welcome back to school Glendale Families,
Mr. Hassett and I will be thrilled to see everyone on the first day of school, Thursday, August 31st. The year ahead promises to be filled with wonder, excitement and meaningful learning!
One of the most fullfilling aspects of our work is the relationships we build with our students and their families. The caring community that is created here at Glendale is one that we are proud to be a part of, and it is our continued desire to develop and nurture all the relationships in our school that make us strong and resilient.
As we look forward to another year, we want to offer our thanks and gratitude for allowing us to play a role in your childrens' lives, while also reiterating our commitment to having an open and transparent relationship with all our families. It is our hope that parents see our school as a collaborative space where we work collectively for what is best for all our learners.
This means our doors remain open for communication, and colloboration with you. The first and most important contact about your child's learning and experience is their homeroom teacher. Please also feel free to reach out to Administration with any questions or thoughts at any time. Parents are our partners, and we look forward to collaborating with you as a critical aspect of our learning community through a variety of avenues, ranging from volunteering, School Council, interviews and concerts, and Celebrations of Learning. Our school is as strong as the network of relationships that sustain it, and we are so grateful to have the support of our amazing families!
The beginning of a new school year is a time of great oppurtunity and excitement. We are so thrilled to once again walk alongside our community, as we steward our greatest treasure, our children, through their learning journey.
Sincerely,
Kristin and Scott
