The virtual drumming residency was a great success with students and staff!  The virtual piece did not come without some technical glitches. Nonetheless, we came out strong and learned various rhythms from Africa, Latin America, and some Indigenous.  We wish to express our sincere appreciation

 to the School Society and parents involved in writing the grant from Alberta Music Education Foundation (AMEF) for One World Drumming, and the matching EGSS grant to make this happen.

Today was Cabello Loco/Crazy Hair Day, and students came with a variety of eccentric hairdos.  What a fun day we had!

Next week we will be immersed in CBE Cares and Black History Month.  Students will continue to learn about a safe, caring, and welcoming environment where we all respect each other, value our differences and celebrate our and others' accomplishments.  For more information about CBE Cares, please visit the following CBE link:
