This morning we had a Welcome Back online assembly.  We shared a video of each staff member saying something about themselves and their role in the school and dreams and hopes for this school year.  Next week we will share the video with all of you to get to know our staff through our Escuela Glenmeadows School YouTube channel.

Today you would have received from your child a Terry Fox Foundation fundraiser information letter which includes an order form for Terry Fox Run T-shirts for your consideration (this is voluntary). Please ask your child if you have not seen the letter and form. The Terry Fox Run will be on September 28, 2021.

Teachers have read student files and the Parent Viewpoint forms you created for them to know your children better.  On September 23 and 24, we will hold 15 minutes online Meet the Teacher Night. This is an opportunity for you to share more about your child and for your teacher to provide you with a simple snapshot of what they have seen thus far.  Please know that teachers will not be reporting on any subject area as they are only beginning to assess students in various areas.  We will be sending information on Wednesday, September 15 for you to book your conferences.  Parents who have children with IPP's will be contacted before the conference manager for a 30-minute meeting.  During the same week of Meet the Teacher Night, teachers will send you their class PowerPoint outlining areas such as communication, homework and any other classroom expectations for students, to name a few.
