Principal's Update

Dear Parents

My name is Jeff Campbell and I am the new Interim Principal of Guy Weadick School. I arrived here a couple weeks ago and I’ve been enjoying getting to know our students, parents and staff. Mrs. Bates is set to return from her Parental leave in early June. Guy Weadick is certainly a warm and welcoming place to be!

Casino

Thanks so much to the many parents, family members, teachers, and community members for volunteering at our Guy Weadick Casino on March 20 and 21. These Casinos only come up every 18 months, but they bring in a lot of money for us to spend on our students. The money from the last casino was spent on many items such as: New Laptops, Laptop Carts, Smartboards, and lots more!

Staffing Updates

At this time we extend our thoughts and best wishes to Mrs. Gill who is a grade ½ teacher in room 5. Mrs. Gill is on a medical leave and we have moved the wonderful Mrs. Morrison from her Resource Teacher role into room 5. Also at this time Mrs. Leifer, who teaches grade 2/3 teacher in room 8 is on a medical leave. In her place we welcome Mrs. Patterson who will be their teacher until Mrs. Leifer returns. Please join me in sending our thoughts and best wishes for a speedy recovery to Mrs. Gill and Mrs. Leifer.

Sincerely,

Jeff Campbell

Interim Principal, Guy Weadick School
