We Are Still Deep in the Throws of Winter!

Whether you believe it or not Feb 2, 2023 (Ground Hog Day) has come and gone and we are still deep in the throws of winter! Some say the ground hog saw his shadow other say not! We say let’s keep the warm clothes and hats and mittens on for a bit longer so we can enjoy some great outdoor learning activities including outdoor recess! On that note we are getting a very long row of lost and found (but mostly lost) items and we need families who are missing items to come in a check it out!

Ms. Bates has officially started her leave and is waiting patiently for the new arrival to their family. Acting Principal Mr. Bulloch started in the school on January 30, 2023 and is very excited to be at GWS! Please feel free to contact him ( dabulloch@cbe.ab.ca) or Ms. Klassen our Assistant Principal with any questions or concerns you may have. We also want to welcome Ms. Bains who will be adding her talents to the Grade 5/6 team until the end of June to support learning in those groupings!
