Communication With School

Our school has a voicemail system and we ask that you access your child’s homeroom teacher via voicemail (a list of extensions will be provided in early September). Use of the voicemail system ensures fewer interruptions to student learning.  Staff members may also be contacted via email.  Please give staff 24 hours to respond to you.  

In the case of an emergency or urgent messages, dial 403-777-7420 and press 0 to speak to someone in the main office. A telephone is located in the hallway near the office for student use. The telephone is available before and after school and during the lunch hour. Please avoid texting your child during instructional times. Messages can be relayed through the office.

​Contact Information Updates

Please notify the school office immediately with any changes of address, telephone numbers (home, business and/or cell), email address or emergency contact numbers. It is critical that we have a current record of contact information on file so we can reach you or other emergency contacts. Please also be sure to provide us with a current copy of any custody agreements.​​

Concerns & Complaints

We know that the success of your student is dependent on a strong partnership between families and the CBE. If you have a concern, it can usually be addressed at the classroom level. Your first step is to arrange to speak privately with your child’s teacher. If you feel your issue is still unresolved, please contact your principal. If you and the school are unable to find a resolution, please see our Concerns & Complaints​ page for additional information, including the process to contact your Area Director. ​​​​
