Preparing for High School

High School

Each H.D. Cartwright student has a designated high school based on their home address. The school may be in your community or in another community depending on space and the program your child is enrolled in. You can use the Find a School to learn about your designated high school or to learn about the locations of alternative programs of choice.

Grade 9 High School Tours

In January/February, H.D. Cartwright students will have presentations from Robert Thirsk and Sir Winston Churchill.  Following the presentations, student will have the opportunity to visit their designated school during the grade 9 high school tours.

High School Open Houses

All H.D. Cartwright students and parents are invited to the high school Open Houses. Please note that all Open Houses for High Schools should be listed on the CBE's information page regarding Open Houses

Elder Casey Eaglespeaker asked staff, “What is something you can do?” This question reminds us that each of us plays a role in Truth and Reconciliation. #WeAreCBE https://t.co/Go62sgSXnL
