September 2019

Welcome back to a new year at The Hamptons School. We have so many activities planned for the year and we can’t wait to get started. Your children will receive an excellent education here at The Hamptons School as the teachers here are dedicated to personalizing learning for each student so that they all achieve to the best of their ability.

Of course, parents and the school work together to help the children be successful in their learning. Please attend the Parent-Teacher conference on September 19 and 20. The teachers will be sharing what they have learned about your child and you will be able to help them understand your child.

Also, please consider attending the School Council Meeting on September 25. This is the first meeting for this year and there will be lots to share and discuss. We have a newly elected School Council whose members are eager to get the year going. We welcome all parents to the meeting.

Also, welcome to our new staff member:

SKILL class-Amber Armstrong

Education Assistant-Anne Campbell

We also say goodbye to our music teacher, Mrs. Sagness. Her family has moved from Calgary. We will be hiring a new music teacher soon. Meanwhile, we have Mrs. Teneycke, a retired music teacher helping us.

Please do not hesitate to contact me for any reason. I look forward to another busy and successful year
