September/October 2020

Welcome back to our new school year. We are so happy to have so many students back at the school and we wish all of our HUB students well too. The students are so eager and they are following all of the new protocols set in place and the whole school has adjusted well to our new ‘normal’ way of doing things. In fact, it feels normal now.
We have had PASS soccer here for 6 days in September. The students enjoyed having the chance to improve their soccer skills and learn more about the game. The students can play soccer during recess and lunch within their cohort (classroom) group. This will be the only specialist that we will have during the next few months as the sport was able to be held outside the whole time.
We were able to do our Terry Fox Run during our individual gym classes.
You will be receiving a phone call for the Parent-Teacher conferences on September 24 and 25. The teachers will be sharing what they have learned about your child and you will be able to help them understand your child.
Also, please consider attending the School Council Meeting on September 30. This is the first meeting for this year and there will be lots to share and discuss. We have a newly elected School Council whose members are eager to get the year going. We welcome all parents to the on-line meeting and a link will be provided.
We will keep you updated as the year evolves
Please contact us at any time.
