Invite | Kindergarten Orientation

Join us for a Welcome to Kindergarten orientation and learn about family activities that will help your child have a successful transition to kindergarten (this invite is for families who have a child entering kindergarten at HMS for the 2023-24 school year).

Playground Fundraising | Student Leadership Loonie/Toonie Drive

Thank you to everyone who has already donated to the final fundraiser organized by our Student Leadership Club. PrestoPie Pizzeria is sponsoring this friendly class-competition and will donate a pizza party to the class that raises the most money. Donations will be collected until May 31, 2023.

As a reminder, PrestoPie is joining the fundraising effort by donating $2 from every pizza sold at their restaurant to a Haultain parent or family member, until May 31, 2023. Make sure to mention you are associated with Haultain, and they will track it and make the donation at the end of May.

Invite | Volunteer Appreciation

We would like to extend our gratitude to all our volunteers. Parents, guardians and community members have been amazing this year in giving their time in support of students at HMS. We would like to celebrate you all with an invitation to our Volunteer Tea. If you have volunteered in any capacity this school year at HMS, you are invited to join us at the school in the Learning Commons at 11:00 on June 2, 2023. Formal invitations have been sent home and require an RSVP so we can plan appropriately.

Celebration of Learning Assemblies

As a reminder, all classes will be hosting a Celebration of Learning Assembly, during school hours, by the end of the year. The next one will be Mrs. Skogman’s, Mrs. Burns’ and Ms. Waldron’s classes on Thursday, May 25 at 10:15. These brief assemblies will showcase the on-going learning that is happening in classrooms and are not meant as theatrical productions. Families are welcome to attend. If you will be joining, please ensure ample time to get seated and settled in the gym for a prompt 10:15 start time (please note this is a 15-minute adjustment from the previously posted start time). More details will be provided by classroom teachers.
