​​Traffic Safety

Ensuring our students get to school safely is everyone’s responsibility. Please be mindful of crosswalks, parking rules and speed limits when you are near our schools, especially during the morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal times.​ ​​​​

Parking & Drop-Off

Staff and parents are reminded to observe all traffic regulations, including speed limits near the school at all times.

School patrols operate regularly at the two crossings on Hawkwood Boulevard at the following times:

  • 8:55 – 9:10 AM
  • 3:45 – 4:00 PM

Patrols may not be on duty during cold or inclement weather so please use caution driving. Please be aware of parking laws and obey all posted signs – do not park on crosswalks.

Parking Lot is a No-Go Zone

Our parking lot is very busy with CBE trucks, staff vehicles and handicapped transportation. Therefore, parents must not use the parking lot for dropping off or picking up children. All parking stalls have been assigned to staff members and are not available to parents or visitors.

There is one handicap parking space in the parking lot. This must be available for the handicapped at all times. Day home and Daycare vehicles are requested to drop students off on Hawkwood Boulevard behind the bus zone. Please DO NOT park in the bus zone between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM on school days.
