Sweet November

Dear HWW Students, Parents/Guardians, and Community,

As we move into the winter season, our thoughts turn to giving back to the community. There are a number of initiatives through which students and families can contribute to our Wise Wood community. Christmas Support for Warrior Families in Need and Help Us Help those in Need have detailed information further on in the newsletter.

“Winter, a lingering season, is a time to gather golden moments, embark upon a sentimental journey, and enjoy every idle hour."                      ~John Boswell

Our basketball season begins December 1. There will be a parent/guardian meeting Saturday November 27 at the school gym or online Click here to join the meeting from 10-11:30am to answer all of your questions. Please see the letter coming home for details.

HWW is looking forward to our upcoming Drama (December 7-10 ticketed event) and Music (December 15 ticketed event) performances.  There is more information available under The Arts.

Friday is a non-instructional day. Staff will be focusing on wellbeing for learning and building both staff and staff resiliency toolkits.

Stay warm out there!

Aileen Smyth
