Dear Henry Wise Wood Students, Parent/Guardians, and Community,
In this final Wednesday Warrior, we want to share how proud of our Warriors we have been this year. Never was this more evident than on our final day of regular schedule last Friday. Students kept it fun, positive and safe. And, they ate many, many waffles...As we move into our exam session, please find attached the updated information for the upcoming weeks. Today and tomorrow are modified afternoons, attendance will be taken, with Credit Recovery to follow in the days ahead. If your student is not yet in a position to earn credits, and still has learning to demonstrate, please remind them to take advantage of this opportunity. Our non-diploma exams are worth 10% and no-jeopardy. As per Alberta Education, our diploma exams are for jeopardy and also weighted 10%. Exam Schedule
We will be honouring our renewed TRC Commitments as a school on June 21 National Indigenous Peoples' Day. Thank you to all of our students and staff and community who continued to build forward in this work. We are excited about the possibilities of our Medicine Garden project which will continue next year.
Mark Appeals, for any errors in mark calculation, will be held on June 29 from 8-12. Please call the school with any questions.
Wishing everyone a safe, informed, and connected summer. We thank you for being part of this Warrior family. Wishing each of our Grade 12s all success, and looking forward to welcoming in our new Warriors in the Fall. Our summer newsletter is currently under construction…..we hope to have it to you for July 15, 2022 – Stay tuned.
With gratitude,
