Digital Citizenship

Hidden Valley Acceptable Use Policy

The use of technology is an integral part of learning at all CBE schools, as required by the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Program of Studies. Students are encouraged to use our network and digital learning tools to collaborate with others to change the world in meaningful, positive ways.

The CBE provides networked digital resources to students in support of student learning and the delivery of curriculum. When students access the web in school they may intentionally or unintentionally go to websites that contain inappropriate material. CBE Administrative Regulation 1062 – Acceptable Use of Electronic Information Resources, describes unacceptable student behavior when using CBE networked computers to access the Internet and potential consequences for unacceptable use.
