Sharing Back | School Planning

Thank you to everyone who participated in our school planning engagement. Due to low participation in our online survey, and in the interest of protecting the anonymity of those who responded, we won’t be sharing the results on our school website.

 The survey responses we received have been reviewed and will be considered in making decisions about school planning.

 Some general comments gathered anecdotally through school council meetings, the school development planning meeting, and generalized from the responses include:

• attendees generally felt the in person meeting dedicated to the school development plan was the best way to find out about the plan and provide feedback to it
• Teacher presentations at school council meetings about how the plan looks in their classrooms was also valued as a way to find out about the plan
• There was discussion at school council about possibilities for engaging more parents in this process and providing some form of interpretation for parents who need it

  We encourage your participation in future engagement initiatives. Your input is important to us and we know we make better decisions to support student learning when we build understanding and work together.
