Good morning to our Jack James community,
Thank you for your patience as we prepare for the return to classes for students. A detailed re-entry plan will be sent home on Friday, August 28, however I wanted to reach out today to share start-up dates and times to you.
Homeroom teachers will be making phone calls home on Friday, Aug 28 to introduce themselves and confirm the re-entry email was received.
Students are encouraged to go to MyCBE/Powerschool to print/take a picture of their timetable prior to September 1. We will no be printing paper copies of timetables unless requested by students/families.

We will be doing a staggered entry for students on Tuesday, September 1.
Grade 10 students – 8:30-11:30am
Grade 11 & 12 students - 1:00-3:13
Students will be directed to our back courtyard and will be met with their homeroom teacher. Students will then be brought into the building using a staggered entry process.
On Wednesday, September 2 we will run a full day of classes, starting with homeroom. A detailed schedule will be included in the August 28 communication home.
Masks: Masks are mandated from kindergarten to grade 12.
This includes classrooms and public spaces such as hallways, learning commons, bathrooms, etc. Mask guidelines, will be reviewed with students on the first day of their staggered entry. Students who are unable to wear a medical mask due to illness or other needs are asked to contact their Assistant Principal prior to the start of the school year.
