Welcome to the 2022-2023 JJHS School Year

Good morning parents, guardians and students of our Jack James High School community,

On behalf of the staff at Jack James High School, I would like to welcome all students and their families to the 2022-2023 school year. As a staff, we are incredibly excited to welcome our new students and welcome back our current students, to reconnect with our families, and to offer you many opportunities, both in the classroom and in extracurricular activities.

 

Our back to school information is on our website at Jack James High School along with important dates for the school year. Students and families can also follow us on Instagram at @jackjameshs for school start-up information, important dates, and daily school activities.

First Day of Classes-

Our first day of classes is Thursday, September 1, 2022 and the school office is open to students and families on Monday, August 22, 2022.

 

The first day of classes we will have a staggered entry as follows:

Grade 10 - Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022 - 8:30 – 11:30 AM 
Grade 11, 12 & Returning 12 - Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022 - 1:00 – 3:13 PM 

Students will be able to access their course schedule on MyCBE/Powerschool on August 29. 

We look forward to connecting with all our students and parent(s)/guardian(s) in the coming days and weeks as we begin our exciting 2022-2023 school year.

We are also welcoming 2 new Guidance Counselors/Student Services staff to our school as both Ms. Davis-Walker and Ms. Hood have moved on to new opportunities.
