Dear Jack James Students, Parents and Guardians,
Welcome, and Welcome Back to Jack James High School! We hope that all of our families have had a wonderful summer shared with family and friends whether you were on adventures within our city or our mountainous backyard. I am excited and honoured to be starting my journey of learning and growing with the Jack James Community this school year. Our new Assistant Principals Ms. Drake and Mr. Murray and I are eager to meet all of our families as we return back to school with such excitement for the opportunities, milestones and successes that we will share as we learn and grow alongside each other this school year.
We invite all parents to join us for our first School Council Meeting on , September 27, 2023 at 5:00 pm. Attending these meetings allows you the opportunity to become actively involved in the discussions surrounding the activities that are planned for our students and our school community.
On behalf of the staff and myself, I look forward to meeting our families at our Meet the Teacher Night that will be taking place on September 21, 2023 from 4:30pm – 8:00pm. At our Meet the Teacher Night we invite all our parents to come by and meet our staff along side Mr. Murray, Ms. Drake and myself. I would like to remind everyone that this night is not intended to be a parent teacher conference, but just an opportunity for you to become familiar with your child's teachers and their program.

I get the feeling that we will have much to celebrate here at Jack James and I look forward to the school year ahead of us all.
