Staffing Updates

We have several staffing updates to share!  Please note, all classes that have had a staffing change were notified and informed at the time.  This information is intended to inform all

families of all the changes that have occurred in the last month.

1.     One of our Educational Assistants, Mrs. Joanne Hoppenreys, retired on March 17.  We have secured a replacement for the remainder of the school year- her name is Kaley Harrison.  She is currently working with the English grade two team.

2.     Alberta Education has extended the funding for literacy intervention for the remainder of the school year.  This means that Ms. Kelly Galvin will continue her intervention leadership with students in grades 1-3.  This also means that Ms. Brooke Ellsworth will remain in grade 3 for the rest of the school year.

3.     Mrs. Christie Dueck went on medical leave at the end of March, prior to the upcoming arrival of her baby in May.  We have secured Mr. Michael Peace as the teacher for Mrs. Dueck's grade 3 class.  Mr. Peace will be with us for the remainder of the school year.

4.     Mme. Natasa has gone on medical leave, likely for the rest of the school year.  We have secured Mme. Nicoleta to teach Mme. Natasa's grade 1/2 class until the end of June.
