| Dear JJ Families, I have some very exciting news that I would like to share with you! My daughter, Sofia, is on Team Alberta (SWU FC07) U 15 soccer and her team will be playing in the Toyota National Championship in Charlottetown, PEI October 5-10. This means that I will be the ultimate soccer mom, cheering on my girl from the stands! Therefore, I will be away from school October 4-11. My family is incredibly lucky that we get this chance to go away together and cheer on this amazing team of girls. The team will also be participating in some Hurricane Fiona clean up when they aren’t playing games or practicing. This travel opportunity will be a very impactful opportunity for the team and families on many levels.
The games will be live streamed, so if anyone has a big soccer fan in their house and would like to cheer on my girl and her team, please reach out to me and I’d be happy to share the links.
Mme. Lina, Ms. Galvin, and Mrs. Paul will be working together to make sure the school continues to run smoothly while I am away. In the event that you require administrative assistance, please contact Mme. Lina by email (lidilov@cbe.ab.ca) or call the school office.
I will be back on October 12 and look forward to sharing all the exciting travel and game news with staff and students. Thank you so much for your understanding and support in my absence.
Sincerely, Mrs. Kivi
