Graduation 2022
It is with great enthusiasm that we are now planning and finalizing graduation details for 2022!
2022 Graduation Theme: "The Space Between Us"
Graduation Ceremony: Tuesday, May 24 at the Jack Simpson Gymnasium at the University of Calgary. There are no tickets for this event. Graduands should arrive at the University of Calgary at 7:45 am to pick up academic gowns and prepare for the ceremony. Academic gowns will be available in the gowning area, KNB 70, the basement level of Kinesiology B Block directly across the hall from the Jack Simpson Gymnasium. The graduation ceremony will commence at 9:00am.
Graduation Banquet: Tuesday, May 24 at the BMO Centre. Doors will open at 5:30, dinner will be served at 6:30, and the dance will be from 7:30-10:30. Ticket sales for the dinner and dance will open in early April. Tickets are $100 each. Each family will be limited to 4 tickets until it is determined if there are extra tickets available.
Graduation Ceremony Rehearsal: There will be an important graduation ceremony rehearsal at the school on May 12 from 10:20am-12:20pm. All students participating in the graduation ceremony must attend.
Graduation Participation: Participation in Graduation Ceremonies requires students to: meet the Alberta Education requirements for a High School Diploma or Certificate of High School Achievement, be a student in good standing according to the school’s code of conduct, and pay the required graduation ceremony fee. Individual cases will be considered on their own merits.
