Our teachers also try their best to balance clubs offered to students in all grades. Some of our regular clubs include:

  • Mosaic After School Program (T, TH)
  • Start to Finish
  • B'Tween Girls
  • YMCA programming
  • Friendship
  • Hockey Heroes
  • Constable Group
  • WordPlay
  • CanLearn Friendship Club
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters teen mentoring
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters mentors
  • Breakfast Club
  • Generosity Club
  • Choir
  • Diversity Cup (Soccer)
  • Ukulele Club
  • Recycling Club
  • Beading Club
  • Indigenous Club
  • Coding Club

As the year goes on, more clubs may be offer depending on interest.

Most clubs and programming are selected and offered on a year-to-year basis. If your child has an idea for a club, please encourage them to approach their classroom teacher to discuss.

Patrols

AMA School Safety Patrols

We appreciate all of our patrollers and the work they do each day to provide a safe crossing for our school community. T

he patrol team participates in training sessions. See the resources below:

School Safety Patrols will not be on duty when it is below -20° C and / or other inclement weather conditions exist (heavy rain, extremely icy roads etc.).  Students are urged to exercise caution when crossing the street on their own.

Patrol Events

We have a number of events throughout the year to celebrate patrollers' efforts providing safe crossing. Most notably, there is the Annual Patrol Picnic held at Heritage Park at the end of the school year.
