Hello to our Lord Beaverbrook students and their families

We trust that you are continuing to enjoy your summer, but that you are also beginning to get ready for the start of the 2019/20 school year. Please review this newsletter as it contains important information and updates. If you have any questions, please contact us via email or phone.

To all of our new students in Grades 10, 11 and 12, welcome to Lord Beaverbrook! We know that changing schools can be a bit of a daunting experience, but we trust that you will have a great experience at our school. We encourage you to take full advantage of the opportunities that exist for students – both academically and through our extensive extra curricular programming. We look forward to learning more about you as the year progresses and in discovering what contributions you can make to our school community.

To our returning Grade 11 and 12 students, welcome back for another year! Whether it is your second year or your last one we challenge you to improve upon your past successes with us and deliberately choose to excel, modelling leadership and citizenship to those around you.

LBHS parents and guardians play a vital role in the ongoing learning, growth and development of their child. Ongoing communication between home and school is vital and we encourage you to contact the school and staff as needed. We welcome the opportunity to meet you, whether it is in the school, on the field/court, in the theatre or wherever it is that we may find ourselves together. Please consider attending our School Council meetings and attending school events that occur through the year.

Best wishes for the remainder of the summer break. See you soon!
