Leadership (Introductory)

This exploratory 5 credit course allows students to make a difference through exciting, student-driven initiatives. Students

Focus on personal leadership development and mentorship as they gain confidence in personal presentation skills. At Lord Beaverbrook, leadership students work to build school spirit through a variety of school-based activities. Components of this course are based on written reflections, assignments, presentations, mentoring contributions, and service hours.

Leadership (Intermediate & Advanced)

Leadership for our grade 11 and 12 continues to build on personal leadership development, mentoring others, and learning how to become a “mentee”. Each course worth 5 credits, students continue to work within the school and community through school initiatives, mentorship programs, and community partnerships. Components of these courses are based on written reflections, assignments, presentations, mentoring contributions, and service hours.
