Digital Photography 10
This class deals with using cell phone and/or point-and-shoot cameras, as well as DSLR cameras in an artistic way. You will learn about the photography triangle (shutter-speed, aperture, ISO) and how it helps in creating well-composed digital imagery. Modules include Introduction to Photography, Composition, Photo Exposure, Digital Processing and Digital Presentation.
- It is recommended students have a basic knowledge of art principles and enjoy working with both technology and traditional art mediums. Students who wish to produce projects outside of curriculum assigned work will be charged a fee to cover the cost of materials.
Photography 20 & 30

Photography 20 and 30 builds on the introductory photography skills explored in Graphic Design 10 and specializes in the use of digital SLR (Single Lens Reflex) cameras. Students will further their knowledge and technical abilities to manually adjust camera settings in order to create stunning planned photographs. Students will experiment with lenses, composition, digital retouching, backdrops, lighting, and printing options while using the photography studio.
