Supporting Our ELL Families During COVID- 19

A multilingual emergency response centre has been created to help you and your family. If you or someone you know has tested positive for COVID-19 and you need information and support in your home language, please call the multilingual emergency response centre toll free at 1-833-217-6614 . You're not alone. Know your rights. Learn more about accessing financial and other support services that can help you and your family by calling 1-833-217-6614 .

Cultural brokers are staffing the phone line to help newcomers and ethnocultural community members with ongoing COVID-19 related needs.

The cultural brokers provide support in 20+ languages with referrals to more than 17 agencies. Information on the CENC initiative is available on the CLIP (Calgary Local Immigration Partnership) website in all 20 languages with links to other resources and agency contacts.
