1.     School Conferences

Our Student-led Conferences will be occurring Thursday, March 9 and Friday, March 10, 2023. Students are excited to share their learning through activities and artifacts.

The conference booking system opens Saturday, March 4 at 10am for bookings and will close Thursday, March 9 at 12pm noon. Please sign-up for a 1-hour time slot using the school conference manager under the Book and Manage Meetings Times icon found within their MyCBE account.

Student-Led Conference Times:

  • Thursday, March 9 from 4:30pm – 7:30pm (Book Fair open from 4:15pm - 7:45pm)
  • Friday, March 10 from 9:00am – 12:00pm (Book Fair open from 8:45am – 12:15pm)

While at school for your child's student-led conference, we also invite you to visit the music room and gymnasium, where students will be able to share their learning in through specific activities in music and physical education.

2.     Scholastic Book Fair

Leading up to and during our school conferences, we are hosting a Scholastic Book Fair. We will be having both a virtual and an in-person book fair during the following dates:

  • Virtual fair March 7 – 13, 2023
  • In person fair March 9-10, 2023 (during school conferences)

Students will have an opportunity to preview the books while at school during a scheduled time with their classroom either on this Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday and will come home with a small list of their favourites. Should families choose to purchase a book, the in-person book fair will be open for students during the day on Thursday and for families during conferences during the times noted above. If you are choosing to purchase a book by sending money with your child on Thursday, it is helpful if you make note of the book or item that your child is wishing for so that they can be supported by their teacher, Mrs. Parshina and the book fair volunteers in finding the item(s). Families are also invited to purchase books online through the virtual link book fair using the following link open March 7-13, 2023. https://virtualbookfairs.scholastic.ca/pages/5195332.

School Council is in need of Book Fair Volunteers for Mar. 9 & 10. Please sign up at - https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0E4CA4AD2DA1F9C43-scholastic
