We would like to thank the grade 2/3 Community English Program Students for leading this past week's celebration of learning. It was a wonderful performance that combined a mix of various media focusing on sharing about the Wolf and Humility.
A reminder that there is no school this Monday, May 22. Students resume classes on Tuesday May 23, 2023.
1. Marion Carson Run Club
Our next run club date in Friday May 26, 2023. Whether you want to walk or run, we look forward to seeing any and all parents and students by the soccer fields starting at 8:55am.
2. Jump Rope for Heart
Ready, set, jump! The countdown is on for our Jump Rope for Heart Day! Students may bring/wear sunscreen on May 23rd as we will be jumping rope outside that day.

3. School Fees Active in Your MyCBE Account
As the year continues, certain fees have become posted based on school registration, transportation, activities, and more. All fees are viewed and paid online by parents through their MyCBE account. These fees will and continue to be added to your child's account throughout the year as needed. At this time, we are asking all parents to visit their MyCBE account to ensure that fee payments are up to date, and then continue to visit their account for fee payment throughout the year when your child is involved in an activity with required payment.

4. School Council / Parent Association Meeting (AGM)
Our next School Council / Parent Association meeting is on May 24, 2023 at 7pm and is our Annual General Meeting (AGM). This is when the upcoming executive and committee positions for the upcoming school year are filled. It will be occurring in a hybrid format both in our Library Learning Commons (doors open at 6:45pm) and online (link below).
Council Executive is looking to fill the following roles for next year at the Annual General Meeting (AGM):
- Chair
- Vice-Chair
- Secretary
If you are interested in filling any of these roles, we invite you to contact the School Council at mcschoolcouncil@gmail.com for more information, or attend the upcoming AGM.
